Delight!

“Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires
of thine heart” (Psalms 37:4). I guess most of us focus and dwell on
the desires of our heart instead of delighting in the Lord. Notice the
promise is for those who delight IN THE LORD. Here are a few questions
for us to consider today. Is our DELIGHT, in CHRIST? And what do
you suppose the DESIRES of our heart will be if CHRIST is its DELIGHT?

    I think we can only delight in what we know is “delightable”, so to speak. When we see Christ in a grand manner, in hearing and seeing and believing the grandness of the salvation laid out before the foundation of the world, and know God ordains and carries out everything that He ordains….when we see the magnificence of it all, we simply have to “delight”. It is a wonderful “delight”.
