Not After Man

But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man” (Galatians 1:11).

The Gospel is the “power” of God to all who believe. God authored it. It is not man’s talent or persuasiveness. Man does not make it affective by his eloquence. The creator specifically purposed before the foundation of the world to choose every man, woman, boy, and girl who believes in Jesus Christ. Read the Scripture and believe it. The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation to those who believe.

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:” (Ephesians 1:4).

If you are chosen—it is in Him. Do you not know this? What saith the Scripture, dear beloved? “Hath chosen us in him.” Faith in Christ is the only instrument of election. God’s perfect plan of redemption from the foundation of the world is believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. If you are in Christ by faith then you are chosen. He planned it before you were born. Who then is not chosen? The person who rejects Jesus Christ is not chosen. Have you received Christ? Then you are chosen to be—holy, blameless, adopted, redeemed, forgiven, and a partaker of His immeasurable grace! In Him!

Are certain individuals excluded from this master plan? You lack real understanding of the Holy Scripture if you believe some are excluded from receiving Christ and were elected by God to spend eternity in the burning lake of fire. Do you honestly believe that God determines your destiny and you have no choice in the matter? Did God make the provision before the foundation of the world? Does God draw us to the truth through His word and by His Spirit? Of Course! No one is suggesting otherwise. But does God make you believe? Has He annihilated your “will” with His own? Search the Scripture prayerfully, openly, honestly, and diligently without the lens of your preconceived doctrine. Rightly divide the word of truth!

The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ died for the sins of the whole world, for all men, and for every sinner as a substitutionary sacrifice, thus satisfying the just demands of God against sin. All who believe and receive Him are justified and cleansed solely on the basis of His shed blood—His death, burial, and resurrection.

For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for

all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again” (2 Corinthians 5:14-15).

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time” (1 Timothy 2:3-6).

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man” (Hebrews 2:9).

And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world” (1 John 2:2).
