Jesus Christ is exactly where you left Him!
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever” (Hebrews 13:8).
The same Jesus who saved you from the penalty of eternal death and damnation, the same Jesus who forgave every sin you have ever committed, are committing, or ever will commit, the same Jesus who has completely justified us and has made us the very righteousness of God through faith in His death, burial, and resurrection, the same Jesus who has reconciled us and made us the friend of God, the same Jesus who has removed all condemnation, the same Jesus who guarantees eternal life, is the same ONE who equips, empowers, and enables us to live the sanctified and holy life.
Fads come and go. Certain steps on successful Christian living come and go. Specialized focuses on certain Christian behaviors come and go. But there He stands. The immovable rock, full of grace and truth. Christ is as real and powerful today as He was when you first received Him.
Have you left your first love for the weaker and beggarly elements of programs, plans, performance, and processes? Come back! Return to Christ. Bask in His power and presence. Walk with the “Master Teacher” and receive the instructions for life. Follow the “Good Shepherd” into the pastures He leads you to. Let the “Light” (who is Jesus) illuminate your path as you walk through the shadows of doubt and fear. Do you thirst? Drink of the “Water of Life” and be filled to the full. Are you hungered? Eat the “Bread of Life” and be satisfied.
Come in full faith and confidence to Jesus Christ today and every day my friend. “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”

Forrest,
Thank you again for this simple truth and reminder. Christ is are all we need. The cause of Christ is what every believer should live for, not the programs of man. We realize what these programs have cost through out the Church Age. Let us rediscover that the original blueprint of Christ and him crucified is all we need.
In His Love
In our prayers daily,

2 Corinthians 11:3 – “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”
It is simple, isn’t it?
