.” And which WAY should they go? “Jesus saith unto him, I AM THE WAY, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). Give them hope. Give them truth. Give them life. Give them Jesus Christ.

    Forrest,

Thank you so much for that encouragement and reminder. It’s difficult when we watch our grown children make decisions we don’t like or agree with. We still love them but sometimes I feel I’ve failed as a mother. I appreciate your words of wisdom each time we receive your e-mail. What a blessing you are!!!!

    Standing on HIS Promises,

You know, Barbara, I think many (most) parents with grown children would have done some things differently. I know I would have. But be encouraged that God, by the indwelling Holy Spirit, and through His word is able to direct our children to “the way” which is in Christ. Yes, it does grieve our heart when our children make wrong choices but remember God loves them far more than we do and does not impose His perfect will on them. With you, I pray our children will know, love, and follow Jesus Christ. That they will choose Him. May we also firmly commit to do the same.
