All Spiritual Blessings

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:” (Ephesians 1:3).

Our Heavenly Father has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in Heavenly places. Who can come against you? Who can condemn you? You are justified even though you still commit sin. That’s justification. Some have said justification is as if you’ve never sinned. No. You are deemed righteous and justified even though you do sin! That’s the point, beloved.

Jesus has done for those of us who are in Him the amazing. Reconciled with God and made His friend. Redeemed from death and from the condemnation of eternal death and judgment. Forgiven for all our sin; past, present, and future. Given immeasurable and unmerited grace that reigns and rules all the way to eternal life.

And how are these Heavenly blessings ours? They are in Christ. And Christ is in you believer! In Christ, you have all that is needed for living the Christian life. Remembrance of this constrains us to love and follow Jesus Christ. Will you flounder through this life and not recall the great debt Christ has settled in full? Christ is our victory, dear friend.
