Be a grace giver

A friend of mine contributed this on Facebook. Thanks Becca. “It’s easy to be gracious to acquaintances and strangers. You don’t know their faults. You don’t know them well enough to be constantly irritated with them. You don’t hold grudges and bitterness towards them. You don’t have a history with them. Christ knew every sin (offense) we would ever commit against Him, yet He shows us grace everyday. Not because we deserve it, because that wouldn’t be grace. Grace is always un-deserved. True grace is being offended or hurt by someone and responding to that with love and gentleness. As soon as someone deserves it, it’s not grace anymore. {But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace. – Romans 11:6}”
