Love finds joy and gladness in truth. Our greatest source of truth is Jesus Christ Himself. He did not come to give us principles of truth, but truth itself. The fullness of truth abides in Christ, and you lack nothing when Christ is the focus of your life.
“And the Word [Jesus] was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” (John 1:14).
“For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ” (John 1:17).
“Jesus saith unto him, I AM the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).
“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth” (3 John 1:4).
