“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble” (James 4:6). Grace is one of the most beautiful truths found in Scripture. Grace is God’s favor that is unmerited, unearned, and undeserved. But the PROUD of heart do not get it! The proud had much rather attempt to somehow merit grace. Merit favor. To earn favor. Thus they search the Scriptures to formulate a system or method of gaining more of God’s approval. Do you not hear the word of truth? He resists the proud! He gives more to the humble. To those who truly understand it is NOT I,but CHRIST!
