“O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the Lord” (Jeremiah 22:29). It is certainly okay if you know Hebrew and Greek. But having a love and respect for God’s word begins with knowing, believing, and understanding that God has preserved His word in the English language. (Psalm 12.)
The Bible is understood by the work of the Holy Spirit. Every believer is indwelt by the Spirit, therefore, every believer is equipped with the ability to know and understand God’s word. What a miracle!
