I received Christ my freshman year at Stephen F. Austin State University through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. I have had the honor of serving in the pastorate for over 10 years and have taught God’s word for over 30 years.
Mobility problems that first occurred in 1990 were finally diagnosed as the more advanced type of secondary-progressive Multiple Sclerosis which has limited my abilities to teach and preach. But I love sharing the things He is teaching me in written form.
In His sovereign will, God has used the physical infirmity of MS to take me off the pedestal of self-reliance so that I would learn to stand on the solid Rock—Jesus Christ. Through personal suffering, God has helped me understand that Christ is really the only person who can live the genuine Christian life.
He is also using the arm of brotherly love. We are so very thankful for those whom God is using to minister to the needs of a “weaker, more feeble” brother and pray for God’s richest blessings in your life.
I have been married to my precious Paula since May of 1983. We have four wonderful children who each serve the Lord Jesus. I hope you enjoy and benefit from my writings and learn to love Jesus Christ even more as a result.
