The New Covenant
Think of what these words must have meant to those living under and following the Old Covenant. The arguing and contention. The vehement defense of Moses. Of the old priesthood. But we have a new High Priest, Jesus Christ the righteous. A new and living way. A better way. An eternal way. “In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away” (Hebrews 8:13).
