Justified

“Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified” (Galatians 2:16). We have each violated the law of God. We’ve each sinned. We are each found guilty. “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” What then? How can humankind be made right with God? The offense requires death!

Payment must be made. Jesus has paid it all. Those who believe in and receive Him, are justified. Qualified. Accepted. Deemed righteous. The sinner protests. The sinner doubts. “The law must be kept.” It cannot! Salvation is not by works, but by faith in Christ. Glory in Christ alone. Grace.
