Are you satisfied?
Is Jesus enough? “Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?” (John 14:8-9). Philip said, show us the Father and we will be satisfied. How does this speak to us? Give me lots of money and I’ll be satisfied. A bigger home? A nicer vehicle? Better health? Better job? Better marriage? Better life? Am I content, satisfied, fulfilled, joyful, and complete in Christ?
