Stedfast to the End

Life for the Apostle was difficult. But towards the end he could say: “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:” (2 Timothy 4:7). A former Deacon friend of mine often reminded us, “God never said it was going to be easy.” God help us to fight a good fight, finish the course you have allowed, and keep the faith. Being stedfast, always abounding in the work of the LORD. Enduring hardness as a good soldier of the LORD. That I might know the fellowship of His sufferings. Being made conformable to His death. Jesus said to Paul, “My grace is sufficient….”
