Limited to Sinners
”This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief” (1 Timothy 1:15).
Christ Jesus did not come into the world to save the righteous. The good. The pure. The holy. But sinners. This qualifies all people because all have sinned.
His salvation, through Christ Jesus sanctifies us. Makes us holy, pure, and righteous before God. The favor of God is bestowed on those in Christ through faith. Not of works. Not of ourself. The gift of God. This is worthy of all acceptation. The gospel is good news!
