Not of Works
Most of us understand salvation is by grace. Unmerited. Unearned. Undeserved. But at some point in our Christian life start foolishly believing we merit God’s favor by good behavior. By good works.
Sure we change. Sure we work the works of God. Sure our thoughts, our words, our deeds are more like Christ. But not to find approval by God. Not to be accepted by God. Grace has not changed. We have.
