One Head to a Body
“And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all
” (Ephesians 1:22-23).
It is wise for us to remember there is only one head of the Church. The glory, the praise, the exaltation is to be shared with nothing and no one else. Our full attention, love, and devotion must be centered on Christ. We must find ourselves absorbed with Him. We must worship, adore, and magnify Christ.
Dear fellow member, direct your thoughts and your passions to the Head of the body, Jesus Christ. If you are a church Elder or teacher, point others to the all sufficient one. Proclaim Him. Teach Him. Know Him. As you grow in His grace and in the knowledge of Him you will truly understand that He is the fulness that filleth all in all. Unto Him be glory both now and forever. Amen.
