“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:27). Words matter. Notice Christ not only gives us peace. But He said, “my peace.” His peace is genuine. Lasting. Life changing.

“That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;” (Ephesians 4:22-23). The Christian life demands some action! “…put off….” We obtain wisdom and strength by renewing our mind. In with the new, out with the old!
